I'm a married man, and I work as a computer engineer in my job. I'm not someone who is defined by their employment. I spend roughly 1/4 of the year on sleeping, working, traveling and personal time.

Annual breakdown

Although I like to think I spend a lot of time doing my hobbies, I spend most of it with my family.

I engage in many activities and try to get others involved with UK POP.

A strong passion of mine is spending time in the outdoors, in any weather as far into the country as possible. This is a good thing as I live in Wales which is pretty wet but has a lot of beautiful countryside and mountains to enjoy. I engage in many outdoors activities and try to get others involved with [hobby.sport.hike.org.ukpop|[UK POP]].

To make the most of my time outside, I need to keep fit and in September 2009, I started fitness training? for the sake of training, and set a few goals along the way, one of which was completing the Cardiff 1/2 Marathon 2009? in October with less than four weeks to prepare, and no prior experience with distance running!

...therefore, whenever I write something that doesn't make sense, I feel like I can call it a poem if I like.

I like to record what goes on in my life in some way other than relying on my memory so I do a lot of photography when I'm out and about and I've attempted a couple of stories? and some poetry? and videos.

My English teacher used to tell me that poetry didn't need to rhyme, therefore, whenever I write something that doesn't make sense, I feel like I can call it a poem if I like.

Because I'm not driving at the moment, I've had much more time for reading and have finished a number of books? which I found interesting enough to tell you about them, or at least for me to remember them.

I did well at Art in school and college, I'll probably upload some photos of my artwork? at me point. I sold a lot of it when I left school, but I still have soem remnants in a portfolio behind the sofa in our family home?.

Thanks for visiting, I hope you learn something by doing so.
